The Canadian Water Summit was an event whose time had come. This year's conference was better than last year. I was impressed with Danny Beaton's brief speech. His core intent of "doing the right thing" lent him momentum and credibility. Dr. Henry Venema's brief presentation on the bioeconomy for lake Winnipeg was inspiring.
